Many people join the School to explore and learn about a system they have heard
aids relaxation, improves co-ordination, balance and posture as well as helping
to maintain fitness and good health. Others may join for many differing reasons:
As a social convenience because its fashionable; To learn more of Chinese culture
/ philosophy; To learn Martial Arts; To become a Taijiquan Instructor with
authentic certification and recognition by an authoritative body (TCUGB).
Assessments are not mandatory as many of our members enjoy the friendliness
and social aspects of our School with no intentions of undertaking them.
For those wishing a progressive learning and deeper understanding of the
Art, the School offers tuition in Taiji & Qigong (Health and Relaxation
Techniques) or, Taiji quan that leads to certificated instructorship by
exam or by assessment.

- Taijiquan open hand forms- 37,44,& 108 posture forms
- Qigong - Daoyin Baojian Gong, Shujin Zhanggu Gong, Five Elements Dance, 5 Animals Form, 12 Animals Qigong
- Sword form
- Partner Forms : Da Lu 1
- Basic Pushing Hands (Tui Shou)
- Instruction in safe teaching practice, basic anatomy, philosophy & socio-cultural beliefs
